You guys are great! I really appreciate that. It's a wonderful video and I'm going to get it up on my blog. I went outside and booted up my laptop so I could hear it too lol. That was a big surprise and I'm almost speechless - something new for me ;)

You went outside to boot up your laptop? Just wondering if it runs on gas and you need to fire it up outside because of the carbon-monoxide? Does that model need an emissions check every year?

I'm not 100% happy fist my first video, but I do have a better idea what I need for raw footage and images to create better ones. Don't get me wrong I like Extreme Las Vegas!

I guess that did sound a little strange lol My laptop uses a Verizon wireless adapter for an internet connection and there's something about my house that wont let it work inside. It just wont get a signal unless I take it outside. I use a wireless router for our desktop and if I were more technologically talented I could probably make it work from the router but I don't want to change the setting on the laptop. I use the laptop in my truck when I find a few minutes of free time which is almost never lately.

It looks like you went to New York too?

Ahhhh Brian,
When you visit the Las Vegas Strip, you visit the world.

The 1st pic is rubber ducky on our picnic table. He has been wearing that wig ever since he found out that Donald Trump has one just like it. Ducky hopes to one day have his own Ducky Trump Towers in Vegas.

Pic #2 when driving down the Strip you see all kinds. Notice the girl on the corner wearing HUGE black wings? Not sure what she was doing but, it was something you don’t see every day.

The 3rd pic is part of the new City Center Towers. They look like they are leaning…

The next couple are also taken from City Center. We were standing right next to the new Beso restaurant (it was not open, they were just getting the patio furniture delivered). You can see the free tram running in 1.

The short piece of video with the red & yellow flowers is inside Crystals at City Center. They don’t have many shops open yet.

The piece of vid with Cait & I & the big Polar Bear is inside the Bellagio. Each month they do a room to a theme & Christmas is my favorite time to go visit. The Polar bear is all white carnations.

The video of the Tornado’s in water is inside City Center Crystals. They are so cool. They have different sizes of tubes all running the tornado’s.

Next is the big tubes of ice. From what I understand they set these huge pieces of ice out & just let them melt into odd designs (I won’t tell you what Cait thought they looked like). They are really pretty. These are also at City Center in Las Vegas.

The next picture Cait is not hailing a cab. She was helping the button see over tall people LOL! In the background you see the MGM Grand Lion. The statue weighs 50 tons, and 45 feet tall, on a 25-foot pedestal, is the largest bronze statue in the U.S. Meow!

The last piece where you see the Extreme Ezine button sneak in is the ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ at the New York New York in Las Vegas. This is right along the side walk of the Main Las Vegas Strip.

Maybe next time we go out we can take Mr. Button to Paris, or the Mirage…give him just a bit more culture. Why pay for air faire all around the world when you can come to Vegas & have it all? Well, at least in some pics it could look like you traveled. LOL!

Extreme Las Vegas Hilton

Postby Brad West » Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:57 am

Get Extreme!

Last night We ventured down to the Las Vegas Strip again, The highlight of the evening was the Tweet up at the Las Vegas Hilton by Peter Arceo the Executive Director of Marketing for the Las Vegas Hilton. Peter is a totally awesome guy, his job it to promote and market the Las Vegas Hilton. Again here is another successful person that sees the value of helping and promoting others to accomplish goals his effortlessly. It is a shame that the mainstream population of the world has no idea that when you passionately help others around you succeed. It is true the more you give the more you get many times over.

A vision to fulfill a need to help animals that are here locally with an anipal Tweet up was brought to the table last night very cool. How about a bigger vision? Why not involve the world and have a Live from the Las Vegas Hilton Anipal Tweet-up. Stay tuned while we work out the details we already have some great thinkers on board, this is going to be huge!

While we were in the Tempo Lounge at the heart of the main casino floor there was someone that always seems to pop-up wherever we go. Keep updated on the latest and greatest and get Extreme!

@Sheryl Thanks for that Sheryl. I'm hoping I can add details and a link for each photo. I've tried three WP plugins so far and none did exactly what I wanted for an album and random sidebar display. Right now I'm working on the same one that Extreme John uses but it's giving me a hard time. I'll have more time to play with it after tomorrow.

@Brad Sounds like a fun time Brad. You know how much I love animals. You've been rubbing shoulders with a lot of cool people lately and learning a lot. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us on the Guild.

Thanks for the photos, that is a big help so I can get the pictures rotating on my blog. I didn't have enough to bother rotating before you guys took that generous trip :D

For any of you dropping in on this thread...You can ask Brian to send YOU an Extreme Ezine button. Take the button & get a few shots with it for Brian's Extreme Ezine Facebook Fan Page.

He already has a photo album started of people & places his button is visiting. It just so happens that Mr. Button loves to visit ladies restrooms here in Vegas. (That is only because Brian's flickr page has toilet photo's & I loled at them).

So get your button, take your pics, write out a description of where the button is visiting & send them along to Brian. I'll be looking for them on his Facebook Fan Page!!
