Well Street Market On BBC TV News

Postby Isha » Thu Mar 10, 2011 2:33 pm

The BBC TV crew's visit to Well Street Market went really well, and the item about the shopkeepers' plight ran on Tuesday evening's BBC TV's London Regional News.

They showed both Noorjahan Baiyat's shop, Trust Shoes, and George Edwards' Wholefood Shop, and interviewed both shop-owners.

They also interviewed WESTRA's (Well Street Traders and Residents Association's) Ian Rathbone, and the Charities' representative, Geoff Taylor.

The programme is watched by hundreds of thousands of Londoners, and the word is getting around in a big way!
