Sea World Orlando Killer Whale Dies

Postby Wendy » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:21 pm

We have yet another story of a killer whale that died while serving time at Sea World.
I called it serving time because the small enclosure tanks would be like a prison cell. The whales have no freedom. Their tanks do not let them have the movement like they would in the wild.

Sea World is loosing whales as fast as ever here lately. Makes me wonder what has changed. Maybe the news of these deaths are just hitting main stream media much more because so many people are tired of seeing the animals kept in captivity? To make it worse, the animal trade industry is getting so much attention from all animal advocates that any death is being made into a huge public out cry?

You can see the story about Kalina the Killer Whale that died Monday at Another Killer Whale Dies at Sea World. It is a shame to be loosing these animals and not knowing why.
