Most house cats I have ever met purr. Some of the grumpy ones just seem to stare and hiss, but that doesn't mean they can't purr, they just choose not too. You know cats are, they do what they want, when they want. LOL!
What about big cats do they purr? I know some chortle (or something like that), but not sure if they have a purr spot and I doubt I ever get the chance to rub a lions tummy to see.
