Sorry if there were permission issues earlier today 01-31-10
I have resynchronized all the forums and cleared the cache a few times and everything seems to be back in order. Extreme Ezine I am setting as a global moderator he seems to be the great tester that I get reports from.

Brad,

When it comes to blogs, I don't have much of a clue. I have built a blog using blogspot, but a lot of the terms and what is being done by them is a lot of mystery to me. I understand how the search engines are constantly looking for new stuff, but I am sure I would need to start way back at beginning level.

I do play with HTML and create websites for lead capture pages and permanent information and such, but getting rated and stuff like that I really need mentoring on. As you know I have done some writing, but it doesn't come easy or quickly to me. I could get better, probably.

And time seems to be short with me also.

Hi Dave,

I too started out with BlogSpot but found I couldn't do all the cool things WordPress does so I quickly moved. I love using WordPress and it's fairly user friendly. You should check it out. We all here would be happy to help in any way we can.

And I'm with you on the writing thing. I'm getting there but it doesn't come naturally, talking does :)

OK I have a few things to answer here,

Tam it's great when you are on the top of the world isn't it?
I have been shut off from Google a couple times also No worry it will come back, may take a couple days sometimes.

going from front to back is alright what ever you are doing as long as you don't loose your place.

OK I'm going to get a little more pacific here and I know you already found this out Tam.
"Go slow and be consistent" do 3,4,5 posts a day but everyday or 2 to 3 times a week. What ever your time allows you to do if you post 2 one day and 4 the next that's cool also. Just take it in small chunks a little bit at a time.

"What you do has to look natural" If you blast through your site fix, change and ping a bunch of stuff all at once then when you are done end the volume stops that could raise a red flag. Then you possibly get penalized.

Just take your time and also carry on with your normal creating and posting also.

Dave,

Lets chat tomorrow at some point to see if blogging is going to be your thing.

The main thing to think about is what do you know and love?
Don't think about anything but conveying your passion. It may sound a little strange but it's really not.

To create a real interactive community of readers who had a similar interest, you want your readers to visit your site for the content. So if you focus on what you really know and love, (it really dosn't matter what the subject really) you can produce real content that has value.

We will help you with the keyword research, As we offered well over a year ago. :)
Also I will put up your site on my server so you can get started and we can go from there.

Tam and Dave,

Writing is a drag for allot of us. This is a issue that is going to be addressed for all of us.

If you can speak about a subject fluently "kind of ~ You know your stuff anyway"

Write out a quick outline.
Record the audio.
Send the audio for transcription "it's real inexpensive"
Edit
Post

We will find easier more productive ways!
The power of just a few people is tremendous.

And last but not least thanks to Brian "ExtremeEzine" for Me volunteering him to be the Moderator Guinea pig.
Brian always seems to find the bugs to report. The moderator permissions have never been tested.

Thanks in advance Brian

Tam, I will add my 2 cents.

I would start with the older post. They are normally the ones that the backlinks have faded off & therefore may not be getting cached any more.

You may also see if in the comments section of the post are any questions that you could use to write a new post & link to the old one.

Also look in the Incoming keywords/phrases to see if you could use or add a better phrase to target who you want to find the article. Sometimes adding another paragraph with the new phrase will help get you better searches coming in.

And always build a couple of new links in great places off site & interlink in new similar post.

Sheryl

ps. You do NOT have to do all of your post in 1 day - just set a goal of 1-2 a day (whatever you have time to fit in while keeping up on your other things).

OK "ya what she said!"

In some circles my short little smart ass sarcastic comments could be considered spam.
Well yes posts like this are useless nonsense to get my post count up!

Yes but take a good look at this site there is
very little of that meaningless crap, It's called Value!
so you can stop the stupid stuff here!
As a matter a fact just working as a team to get more
constant content in the Blog Co-Op will produce some
insane power. It still has a PR of 3!

This is kind of fun I'm normally talking to
my imaginary invisible friend
