Paint.net Plugins.
Here is an updated download of my favorite Plugins for Paint.net.
I would list them all but the package is pretty extensive.

Also included in this zip file is a File Types folder that contains some things to run the Effects and also some stand alone things like the plugin to be able to edit PDS Files in Paint.net.

For computers with older Video Cards

Should work on computers 1 1/2 years old or so.

Once you have downloaded the plugins and installed them, one of the cool things you can do is to make text around an image. This works great if you want a round image like the avatars on Google Plus. Of course you can make text in a complete 360 or just make an ark over part of the image.
